 Databases
The requirements for this course are that you must be computer literate with
a basic knowledge of databases.
Course Content
- Database Structure - fields, data types, properties
- Insert, edit and delete fields and records
- Sort data on one or more fields
- Use queries involving multiple criteria to search a database
- Compare different report formats using wizards
- Validate data for entry
- Customise a form for data entry
- Advanced queries using wildcards and combining fields
- Refine queries so that user can enter conditions
- Use functions in a report
- Customise reports from the results of a search
- Create a menu for selecting required tasks
