ILA Scotland

ILA Scotland is a simple way to get up to £200 a year towards the cost of learning something new.

It's a Scottish Executive scheme for anyone over 18 and living in Scotland.

The amount of funding you get, and the courses you can use your funding for, depends on how much you earn.

If you earn £18,000 or less, you can apply for an Individual Learning Account (ILA) that will give you £200 a year towards a wide range of courses from learning providers throughout Scotland.

And, if you earn more than £18,000 a year, you can get £100 towards courses that will help you develop the skills that many employers are looking for - including building your computer skills or brushing up on your communication or customer handling skills.

And the money is not a loan - so you  don't have to pay any of it back.

Get the skills you need to get ahead.

Learning might help you earn more money, get a better job or do something you really enjoy

Remember that before you book a course you must have received your ILA Scotland account card and account number
